2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or booking any service with Lucky Bus Services (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.
By completing a booking, you explicitly acknowledge that:
You have read and understood these Terms
You agree to all policies, including cancellation and liability limitations
This agreement is enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law
3. Eligibility
All passengers must be 21 years of age or older.
By booking, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
We reserve the right to request valid identification.
4. Services Provided
Lucky Bus Services provides scheduled transportation between:
Bakersfield, California
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tejon
Trip Types:
One-way (point-to-point)
Roundtrip (Bakersfield to Bakersfield)
No additional stops are permitted under any circumstances.
5. Booking, Seating & Boarding Policy
Seating is first come, first served
Maximum vehicle capacity: 14 passengers
Passengers must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure
Late Arrival / No-Show Policy
Failure to arrive on time = automatic forfeiture of ticket
No refunds or credits will be issued
6. Payment Terms
All bookings must be paid in full via credit or debit card
Payments are securely processed through Valor Pay
Receipts are issued via email
Chargeback Policy
Initiating a chargeback without valid cause constitutes a breach of these Terms.
We reserve the right to:
Contest the chargeback
Recover associated fees
Permanently refuse future service
7. Cancellation & Refund Policy
24+ hours before departure: Full refund
Less than 24 hours: Credit for future travel
No-shows / missed departures: No refund or credit

8. Passenger Conduct & Driver Authority
Passengers must behave in a safe and respectful manner at all times.
Driver Authority
The driver has full discretion to:
Refuse boarding
Remove passengers
Deny continued service
Reasons include, but are not limited to:
Intoxication or impairment
Disruptive or unsafe behavior
Failure to follow instructions
No refunds will be issued in these cases.
9. Alcohol Policy
Alcohol is permitted onboard; however:
Consumption must remain lawful and responsible
Disorderly conduct will not be tolerated
Driver discretion is final
10. Baggage Policy
Only small personal items allowed (purse/backpack)
No large luggage permitted
11. Smoking Policy
Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited on all vehicles.
12. Pets & Minors
No pets allowed
No passengers under 21 permitted
13. Seatbelt Requirement
Passengers are required to wear seatbelts at all times while the vehicle is in motion.
14. Duty of Care (California Civil Code §2100)
Lucky Bus Services operates as a passenger carrier under California law and will exercise the utmost care and diligence for passenger safety, provide safe vehicles, and operate in a responsible manner consistent with California Civil Code Section 2100.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights that cannot be waived under California law.
15. Assumption of Risk
By using our services, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of transportation, including but not limited to:
Vehicle accidents
Sudden stops or delays
Road conditions
Passenger-related incidents
You voluntarily assume all such risks.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lucky Bus Services shall not be liable for:
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Missed events, reservations, or schedules
Financial losses, including gambling losses
Delays caused by traffic, weather, or mechanical issues
17. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Weather conditions
Traffic incidents
Mechanical failures
Government actions
Casino closures
Emergencies or natural disasters
18. Medical & Emergency Disclaimer
Lucky Bus Services is not responsible for medical conditions or emergencies occurring during transport.
Passengers are solely responsible for:
Their health condition
Required medications
Seeking emergency assistance if needed
19. Third-Party Disclaimer
Lucky Bus Services is an independent transportation provider and is not affiliated with or responsible for:
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tejon
Casino policies, operations, or promotions
20. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lucky Bus Services and its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from:
Your conduct
Violation of these Terms
Injury or damage caused by you
21. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Property
We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
Any recovered items may be returned at our discretion.
22. Arbitration & Class Action Waiver
All disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in California, not in court.
You agree to:
Waive the right to a jury trial
Waive participation in class actions
23. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.
24. Modifications
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
